Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Pictexta (https://pictexta.com), operated by VoxTech ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the service.

1. Use of Service

Pictexta is an AI-powered image text editing service. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated bots or scripts to abuse the credit system

2. Accounts

You must sign in with a valid Google, Apple, or Facebook account to use Pictexta. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

3. Credits and Payments

3.1 Free Credits

All registered users receive 20 free credits daily upon login. Free credits expire at the end of each day and cannot be transferred or accumulated. Free credits are consumed before paid credits.

3.2 Paid Credits and Subscriptions

Paid credits are available through monthly/yearly subscription plans (Basic, Standard, Pro) or one-time Pay As You Go (PAYG) purchases. All payments are processed securely by Paddle.com.

Subscription plan credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

3.3 Plan Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately and new credits are granted at the time of upgrade.

Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No immediate charge or refund is issued upon downgrade.

3.4 Credit Consumption

Each AI image edit consumes credits based on the selected AI model:

  • Standard AI: 10 credits per edit
  • Premium AI: 20 credits per edit

Credits are deducted at the time of the edit request. If an edit fails due to a server or AI error, credits will be refunded.

4. Refund Policy

If you have not used any credits after purchase, a full refund is available. Once credits have been used, no refund will be issued for the used portion.

To request a refund, email us at support@pictexta.com with your account email and purchase details.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all images you upload. By using Pictexta, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your images solely for the purpose of providing the service.

5.2 AI-Generated Output

Edited images generated by our AI are provided to you for your own use. We make no claim to ownership of the output. However, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the output does not infringe on third-party rights.

5.3 Our Service

The Pictexta service, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of VoxTech. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of it without our explicit written consent.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Edited images are stored on our cloud servers and automatically deleted 30 days after the last edit. We recommend downloading your files before then.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI-generated results will meet your specific expectations
  • The service will be available at all times

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@pictexta.com. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your account settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
